India Urban Space Foundation

  • Support urban agencies in configuring & structuring the project
  • Liaise with Academic Institutions; identify & place potential candidates
  • Track students placed & project progress
  • Take feedback from Urban Agencies, Academic Institutions, Student and Project Mentors

Urban Agencies

  • Identify short-term high impact rojects
  • Provide enabling work environment
  • Provide financial/non-financial ncentives

Student

  • Implement the project under supervision & guidance
  • Bring dynamism, technical knowledge & demonstrate commitment to the project

Project Mentor

  • Closely guide & supervise the work
  • Facilitate all internal linkages for effective project implementation

The program welcomes Urban Local Bodies, Urban Development Authorities, Water Utilities and Boards, State Urban Finance Corporations, and State Urban Development Departments to join in this initiative.

We would like to target academic institutions such as schools of planning, architecture, engineering and technology. Disciplines may include Urban Planning, Traffic and Transport Planning, Architecture & Urban Design, Environmental Engineering.

Internship tenure should be a minimum of 10 weeks with a maximum lengthof 12 months on full-time basis, either as an intern, trainee or for contract employment.
