Our Future Plans

Encouraged by the support we have received from Governments at Central and State levels, civic agencies, private sector firms, urban sector institutions and experts, IUSF is working on a number of projects and opportunities.

In our bridging role, IUSF will be working on evolving path-breaking practices and standards in the areas of planning and urban design. To name a few – preparation of master plans; development of spatial data centres; standards for street / outdoor advertisements and signages; design standards for pedestrian facilities and road intersections; etc. We also intend to undertake extensive documentation and dissemination of pilot projects we are executing, to spread the impact and benefits to a larger landscape.

As part of the market driven approach, IUSF will facilitate dialogue and exchange between private sector players and governments on issues of demand-side management of energy consumption in ULBs; energy efficiency in buildings; e-Governance solutions on spatial data platform; building bye-laws, etc. IUSF also organises the its flagship national event – IndiaUSP – that is India’s single largest platform for all stakeholders in the urban sector.
